Droughts spreading across the world including China, Russia, the United States and France, may further fuel the already-tough inflationary situation especially in food sector
Droughts spreading across the world including China, Russia, moncler, the United States and France, may further fuel the already-tough inflationary situation especially in food sector, by leading to a new round of price hikes for agricultural products. Nearly 100 million mu (1mu equals around 0.165 acre) of crops in some Chinese provinces including Hubei, Gansu, Jiangxi and Hunan, are affected by the worst drought in 50 years, the state-run Xinhua reported, supra shoes, citing the Chinese Office of State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters on May 18. The disaster came just at a critical time for early season rice that needs much field care in one of the major rice producers, and the country’s Ministry of Agriculture predicted Saturday that as droughts continued, louboutin pas cher, up to 3 million mu of early season rice fields were affected in Hubei Province only, while in Jiangxi, Hunan and Guangdong, droughts have diminished major rivers and lakes. The problem, moreover, doudoune moncler, has been spreading across the world. France and German in Europe, abercrombie, Russia, mercurial, and the United States are all plagued by droughts along with the extended La Nina and high-pressure air in the north Atlantic. Spring planting has been largely delayed by 50 percent in dry weather in Russia, fueling concerns of another international price surge, ralph lauren, after a forest fire last June strangled produce production due to the persistent hot weathers and droughts. Meanwhile, the United States is in the grip of the worst drought to hit the central and western part of the country since 1930, with the State of Texas having suffered a loss of 1.5 billion U.S. dollars already. In France, drought are plaguing 42 provinces and about 60 percent of its reservoirs have lower-than-normal water levels. Yields of wheat may plunge by 11.5 percent in 2011 in the largest wheat producer in the European Union, as reported by New York Times. The International Grains Council, a trade body, revised down global wheat production by 1000,000 tonnes between 2011 to 2012, citing drought concerns. As a result, wheat futures jumped sharply last week, with wheat futures contract to be delivered in July valued at 8.13 U.S. dollars a bushel when traded on the Chicago Board of Trade, abercrombie france, rising nearly 10 percent. Though having declined from the peak early this year, wheat futures have been traded at a relatively high level till now. The affect of droughts in China may be typical as food has been acting as a major driving force of this round of inflation in the country. Food prices take up a nearly 30 percent of weight in the items it takes to calculate the consumer price index. If food prices bounce back, it would barely anticipate a fall in the CPI reading in the next half this year. The persistence of drought would affect the production of hydroelectricity as well, making the current power shortage that gripped many of Chinese provinces even worse. Revealed - A Simple Formula For Success! Exceeding Expectations
Delight = Customer Expectation plus 1. This was the simple formula for delighting your customers that Ken Blanchard informed us of in his book "Raving Fans" For me this is a great formula, louboutin, but in itself it also raises a number of questions. For example, to deliver a plus one, to exceed something, you must know what that something is in the first place? so do you? Do you know what your customer expectations are at each moment of contact? I am constantly surprised by how many of our clients don't. They have their own personal opinions of what their customers' expectations are, they believe they know, but can they show me evidence, no! They perhaps show me a survey they conducted over 10 years ago and say "I'm sure it's the same now",louboutin pas cher!If you want a clue as to what your customers expectations are then just listen to the words they use. Customers say, "I didn't expect to be treated in that way". People use the word expects a great deal??..when they do they are referring to their inner expectations???which they then use to measure your performance against those expectations. On our seminars and conferences, I frequently ask the audience to close their eyes and think of landing in an airport in a foreign country they have never visited before. I ask them to look around and tell me what it is like and how they feel. People begin to tell me, they normally say they feel anxious, confused, they are concerned and worried as they have landed in a foreign country and are not certain what to do and where to go, they are defensive. What are they describing here??..They are describing emotions, they are describing their emotional expectations, they are describing how they EXPECT to feel. Therefore we tell our clients that there are two forms of expectation, physical expectations, i.e. how quickly a product will be delivered, how many rings it will take to answer the phone and emotional expectations, what people EXPECT to feel.If you are to meet your customer expectations you need to understand both! So do you? Do you know what your customers' physical and emotional expectations are? When they come into your store? Or when your salesman calls around? Or when you put them through 7 layers of voice menu systems? ??And if you don't, how in the hell do you expect to meet, let alone exceed, those expectations? So what are emotional expectations? Let me give you an example. The other day I walked into a store and the woman was stacking bags behind the check out. As I stood in front of her she totally ignored me. I thought, moncler, how rude, abercrombie and fitch! I was hurt,Supra, I felt snubbed. My emotional expectation was that she would have at least acknowledged me; asked me to wait a moment, but no she chose to ignore me.?.?another example, last week I brought something from a store and it stopped working. I decided to take it back. I was expecting a row. I emotionally prepared myself for an argument; I had played it out in my mind; what they were going to say and how I would respond. The person behind the counter couldn't have been nicer and more apologetic. They replaced the item without question. That exceeded my emotional expectations. My advice for this month is to find out what your customer emotional expectations are. It is only when you understand them that you and your organisation can set about planning how to achieve or exceed them. Without this understanding you are leaving it to chance!
Related articles: are fearlessly migrate toward faith 【投稿须知】 自己也要走下去〕 The B53 bomb will be broken down Tuesday at the Pantex Plant near Amarillo, Texas, the nation's only nuclear weapons assembly and disassembly facility.
