Its been 31/2 months now and the Ear Force X31s have really made me happy; I will NOT play without them! This headset is very comfortable, the sound is rich and crisp, they block most outside distractions; and the Xbox live chat mike BLOWS the Microsoft version away! Having no wires for the wife and kids to trip over (sorry, but its happened to me before) is sweet.
Now what are the improvements that could be made? My only real issue with this headset is the mute switch is somewhat thin, making it harder to tell when it is on or muted. Not a big problem, but can be annoying at times. And you might want decent rechargeable batteries, as the 2 triple-A Duracell batteries last roughly 14-17 hours for me.
