Economic globalization, as an inexorable power, now spreads all over the world. Not exaggerative speaking, the lives of people in every corner on the earth, more or less, have been affected by economic internationalization. As early as the end of the World War Ⅰ,the transnational corporation had just become the main style of multi-national economy. After the next war, this classification of corporation was found everywhere in the whole world. There have been more than 44.5 thousands transnational corporation and 270 thousands of overseas branches all over the world by now.
Economic globalization brought economic communication, which related different cultural background. The merchants from developed countries take their money, technology and managing thoughts into other countries, especially those developing ones. And in the same time, they {also additionally ,}take their national customs into those countries. Foreign staff and their local co-workers work together and affect each other, which has improved the comprehension on different cultures among the people from different nations. Thus, cultural exchange between nations became a general issue. As a result, native culture has blended with foreign culture. This leads to cultural globalization.
With regard to China, the policy of reforming and opening, starting in 1978, supplied us a chance to touch with the world out of Socialism Alliance. Before that, the government of this country rejected associating with western countries. While, with developing of reforming and opening, China has made deeply contact with most of the nations, especially the USA, and EU. More and more western countries have reached the Main Land. Now, some young people, who live in the metropolises, put Christmas Day and Loverrs Day ahead of the Spring Festival in their mind. At first, while the masses of China began to realize the policies and economy of other countries objectively. When the bias on politics against western countries(including Japan and South Korea ) have been rectified ,we imported lots of cultural productions overseas, such as novels, movies, music and so on.
Unfortunately, the foreign culture has not been accepted by our Chinese rapidly. Because those culture was far from the one we met daily, not only with the content, but {also additionally ,}with the form. At that time we even saw them with panic sight. Some scholars said that the foreign culture was flood or beast of prey, because of it included much of pornography, violence, negativity, and so on, which were recognized as poisons to our mind, especially to the youngrs mind. However, nobody could block the steps of us accepting foreign cultures. As the exchanges with foreign countries have been becoming frequently day by day, large quantities of culture from other nations were introduced into China. From then on, Chinese culture was unavoidably melted with the foreign culture.
Chinese culture, in my opinion, could be improved by cultural globalization. From last century on, the culture over the world had become more and more plural, and cultural globalization made our culture step into the range of the worldrs culture, also, that made the worldrs culture accept Chinese ones. Before Chinese people began to touch with the western world when 1800, China had continued the culture of the Confucian school, more than 2 thousands years. But then, the culture in Europe had already been very developed. Because of the wars and the traditions between Dynasty Qing and Europe, Chinese had to face to the foreign cultures, while the aggression of western culture destroyed the confining of feudal order. The Chinese traditional culture fused with the ones from other countries, which improved the revolutionary of large numbers of domains, such as science, technology, politics, arts, philosophy, and so on. At the same time, this was good to wake up our consciousness of nationality.
Every coin has two sides. Undoubtedly, the entrance of foreign culture to China has destroyed the unique style of the Chinese culture objectively. With the reforming and opening, China has accepted more and more western culture, but disappointingly, held less and less our own. Take the building for example. In the late 25 years, there have been more than one million buildings with different usages. But whoever saw most of these buildings would say: Oh,beijing escort,Shanghai, Mumbai, India, they are too ugly; they have no characters comparing with Chinese ancient ones. It is easily betrayed that the blind learning of the west does not make use of developing Chinese culture.
How should China treat cultural globalization? I think there are three points ought to be noticed by us to handle this problem.
First of all, we should take positive attitude to cultural globalization. Globalization is not flood and beast, and it cannot replace our traditional culture. So it is unnecessary for us to fear it or avoid it. We would welcome them to come into our sight, at the same time, we would help to bring about the melt between our Chinese culture and foreign one.
Second, what we would do is not whole scale westernization. There are both good and bad aspect in any culture. If we want to make our culture more flourishing, we should firstly learn to distinguish the good aspect and bad aspect in foreign cultures, then, to assimilate the excellent part. As to the dross which is not good for us developing our culture, we should reject them. While,beijing massage, we should reject the dross in our own culture too. The culture we are developing will become more and more developed.
The last but not the least, we should remain the character and style of our own culture, which could improve the cultural globalization. Chinese culture and civilization exist more than four thousands years, which includes the essence of the thought of the Orient. To the whole world, it is {also additionally ,}a valuable ethical treasure. Thus, while we accept the western culture to improve ours, we should introduce our Chinese culture to the foreign countries, in order to promote the globalization.
Although we have done a lot about cultural globalization, it is still far from enough! By now, our culture has not proved its great charm to the whole world. When all the people from every nation accept our culture, we can smile and say: We are in and improving the cultural globalization!
